About OncoFirm Diagnostics
OncoFirm™ Diagnostics Corporation is a research and development-stage company based in Port Washington, New York. We are developing a fluorescent lateral flow platform for cancer biomarker detection and building the research partnerships needed to test it properly.
What we are working on, and why
Many cancers are found late, and much biomarker testing depends on central laboratories that are not equally available to everyone. We think it is worth finding out whether quantitative protein biomarker measurement can be done on a simpler format, closer to the patient, without giving up reliability.
That is a research question, and we treat it as one. The work combines antigen and antibody research, a fluorescent lateral flow assay format, a portable digital reader and signal-interpretation software. None of it has been clinically validated yet.
